Sometime last year, I attended a big-time poker party (home party), hosted by a businessman millionaire. In that event, they held a contest facilitated by a comedian who was not funny at all, well, the contest was interesting. It was entitled "Crazy Game of Poker Lyrics", and it was something like a spelling bee. Only, the participants would write (in the most accurate way) certain parts of poker parlance. I joined it, and without meaning to brag, I placed second (my prize was an expensive watch, not Rolex). The following words were those were I erred in, these were the reasons why I did not become the champion of the Crazy Game of Poker Lyrics. Here are the terms and the true definitions: belly buster: it means inside straight draw. big chick: starting set of A and Q (I answered pair of Qs). boat: now incredibly, in that Crazy Game of Poker Lyrics, I was the only one who got this wrong. The answer: a full house- I don't know what happened to me then, probably my mentally-diseased MPD side spoke up. Hooks: 2 jacks as starters. Snowmen: (everybody got this wrong, haha)- an eight pair as the starting holding.
