Actually, to say that the
WSOP bracelet is a gold bracelet is not perfectly accurate. It is not just gold in this piece of jewelry. Way back in 1976, the bracelet could be described as "something like a gold nugget, but hammered." During that time, this piece cost five hundred dollars.
It was in 2006 that Frederick Goldman, Inc started making the bracelets. The renowned watchmaker Corum at the same time started making commemorative watches as items of the overall prize package. The champion's bracelet at this time had more than 200 stones, consisting of 7.2 carat diamonds, 120 g of white/yellow gold, and bits of rubies and sapphire. It is not hard to believe that there are pros who cherish the bracelet more than the actual cash won, even if the money did change their lives. When it is worn, the bracelet 'shouts' to everyone that the wearer is one of the best in the world, without actually being blatant.
Come 2007, Corum was given the rights to become the official manufacturer of WSOP's bracelets. The company came out with 4 variations in that same year.

There is a new Bodog Home, meaning, it's going to be a new url address. The public could now go to bodoglife.com- all of this the end result of a long and painful lawsuit (1st Technology LCC is the name of the other entity). Thus, the domain name transfer, and at present, Bodog Home is a new Bodog home with their catch phrase THIS IS BODOG- THIS IS THE LIFE.
Actually, Bodog maintains a culture anchored on (I am going to paraphrase a bit) "big stakes, hot women and parties in the exotic places". According to the top man (owner), they relinquished newbodog.com (which they used for a bit of a time), but to get a permanent niche, they went to the current url address.
I don't know about you, but I would like to believe that the loyalists of Bodog would not really get affected, even if they change url addresses every month. After all, wherever the url may be, it's STILL one click away of the mouse.
